Chris Volk became interested in firefighting while in high school serving as a fire explorer for Ocean Shores Fire Department in Washington State. He was hired as a professional firefighter at Pullman Fire Department in 2004 and now serves as a Lieutenant. A proud member of IAFF Local 1892 – Pullman, Volk was elected Secretary/Treasurer in 2007, a position he still holds. He was appointed and then elected Trustee to the IAFF Health & Wellness Trust in 2016.
