Trust Consultant
DiMartino Associates is your Local’s contact for general information regarding Trust operations and benefits for both existing and prospective groups. Representatives from DiMartino Associates are available to meet with your membership or your Executive Board to provide education about the IAFF HWT or help strategize ahead of upcoming negotiations. They are also happy to provide a refresher course for members already participating in the plan.
Trust Office
MagnaCare
MagnaCare is a Third Party Administrator handling plan administration services for the Trust.
MagnaCare is the “Trust Office.” They handle all the day-to-day operations for the Trust and its participating Locals. Participating members can contact MagnaCare with questions regarding anything related to their Trust coverage, however some inquiries may be triaged out to the appropriate Trust Benefit Partner.
Participating HWT employers can contact MagnaCare with questions about the monthly billing, updates to member eligibility, or updates to Local union contracts or agreements that may impact the plan.
MagnaCare also hosts an online portal, MyCreateHealth, which both members and employers can access. Members can find information related to all of their Trust benefits and can also view their eligibility and update their beneficiary information. Employers with registered access can manage billing and eligibly on the portal, as well as access important forms and documents.
